Learning to Love You...

"We are confined only by the walls that we build ourselves..."-Unknown

We all want success for ourselves, yet we are afraid of failure. "Failure does not mean that we have failed, but it indicates an opportunity to redo our past...to better our future..."

When we look in the mirror often we are not pleased with what we see, whether it be our forehead is too big, our eyes are too large and the list goes on. Then we remember that celebrities always fix their imperfections under the needles and we consider doing it too. There is nothing wrong with wanting to enhance your beauty to feel more confident about you, but not everyone can afford it.

The life we live as both women and young girls rotates about taking on what people say to us. Accepting that we are inferior to someone else just because they make us feel that they are superior. Not everything people tell you is true...you need to know your worth...and love you. We all need to stop acknowledge other peoples' beauty and start to honour our own. We all need to look in the mirror, start to appreciate who we are today and embrace who we will be tomorrow.

'When someone pass we chatter to our friend 'That girl is nice...' but as my close friend always tell me you can't say someone is nice by the outward appearance. Beauty start on the inside and tends outward. Today I urge you to stop compare yourself with others we are all fearfully and wonderfully made. It may be...it is impossible for you to feel confident when someone is shaking down your confidence, but don't make that person get the better of you. Look in the mirror and say "I am me...I love me...I am beautiful" do that everyday. Find and do things that makes you feel good about yourself.

I turn to clothes, makeup and talking to people that make me feel good about myself, not that there are the times I am not confident. I just land back on my feet and do what makes me feel good. You don't learn to love yourself in one day, its a continued process, but today is a start. Challage yourself,  to the "MIRROR CHALLANGE" each time you pass by a mirror compliment yourself. Say things like "Hmmm you are beautiful girl..." or "I am so F-I-N-E." A confidence boost is good for everyone so try it today.

You will have a different way form each and every person to feel beautiful, just go at it. Be you...Be bold...Be beautiful....

To be continued...

Welcome to thenaturalisticbeauty

Beautiful People,

First I would like to begin by wishing everyone a Happy New Year and bright and prosperous 2015. Secondly I am please to welcome you to thenaturalisticbeauty where beauty can be exposed at its best.

"thenaturalisticbeauty" was just an idea that I ran with. I always knew that I wanted to have a blog, but I just didn't know what I would blog about. Then recently I realized that I was asking myself the wrong question. It is not what I want to blog about, it is what interest me....for what intrigues the mind drives the heart.

I am only 17, I am still yet to know about all the life lessons compared to the adults around me. So the question is what really intrigues me? I am a real girl, when I think pink, blue, orange, yellow and green I think of life and great excitement. Those colours don't just appear to me as colours, to me they have a sense of liveliness added to them that have the power to change moods. Then I went on to think what do I love when it comes to myself...the obvious answer was me.

I am a one of a kind no one can be compared to me. Then it hit me as teenagers growing up we all don't have great self-confidence because we are not often accepted by society due to our personal preferences. However we do live in an unjust world, but we should learn to accept everyone because we are all special and unique in their own way my preference obviously will not be yours. In the words of Confucius-"Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it."

The name "thenaturalisticbeauty" was chosen because I love my natural hair and I have no intentions of adding relaxers to my hair. Instead that I would learn to truly care for may hair. Then there is the word beauty, we often look at people and admire of there beauty often forgetting that we too have our own beauty.

Through this blog I wish to motivate people to love and care for themselves as I write based on my own experiences and different challenges that I try whether it be hair, makeup, facial care and many more.

Keep tuned for my 2015 hair growth challenge and great tips.

Remember love the you....that you love.....I look forward to a great year.
